NWSLC Students competed in regional AHT competitions on Wednesday 30th March. The competitions host colleges from across the region who compete for a place at the national finals. NWSLC students from Media Makeup Artistry and Nail Art competed in different rounds that tested their technical skills and creativity.

NWSLC saw huge successes with 13 students being placed in different categories:

Cerys Lacey, Nail Art – 2nd place
Libby-Ann Holdback, Nail Art – 1st place
Dylan King, Create an Image – 2nd Place
Vicky Rathbone, Create an Image – 3rd Place
Sylvia Hart, Body Paint – 1st place
Libby Gray, Body Paint – 2nd place
Zoe Morgan’s, Advanced Body Paint – 1st place
Lily Edge, Advanced Body Paint – 2nd place
Jodie Thorpe Advanced Body Paint – 3rd place
Megan Walker, Transgender Transformation – 2nd Place
Blue Rear, 1920’s Inspired Blue Rear – 1st place
Blue Rear, 1920’s makeup – 2nd place
They will now have the chance to showcase their skills at the National Finals at Blackpool on the 22nd and 23rd May 2022. Nail Art students will be receiving coaching from local Salon owner and co-founder of NG Pro Nail Systems, Erin Adeyemo, to prepare them for the National Finals.
