We are offering free GCSEs to those who are home educated.

The programme is available at our Nuneaton and Wigston campuses and allows access to GCSE English and maths tuition and examinations.

Young people will attend the College one-day per week, receive study support from on-site lecturers and have set homework which is the equivalent of full-time, in-class study.

Christopher Nixon, Director of Student Experience and Support at the College said: “Home schooling is a big commitment both for the young person and the parents/carers involved and the financial implications can often be a worry. This programme allows us to provide the tuition fees (funding by the Government) and examination fees free of charge for GCSE maths and English – two qualifications that are vital for all young people thinking about their next career steps. This programme also provides the opportunity for students to experience college life and explore the different post-GCSE options available to them.”

The programme is available to start in September 2019.
