Staying safe when you join us for a Part-time course

Should you worry about how we would keep you safe whilst studying with us, we have a little guide for you.

Based on current government guidelines, our campuses will reopen for teaching in the autumn term. We have introduced new measures to keep the spread of the Coronavirus to a minimum. With us all playing our part, we can help to make sure that you and the college are safe.

One-way systems: Our campuses will have one-way systems so that staff and students are able to move around the College safely when they are on site.
Hand sanitiser: We will ensure there are sufficient supplies of hand sanitiser at key points at each campus, and in classrooms and workshops.
Staggering start, finish and break times: This ensures that students and staff can safely move around the College.
Additional cleaning: Our staff clean to a high standard to ensure that we minimise the spread of Coronavirus.
Catering facilities: Our catering facilities will be closed in evenings to minimise movement around the college.
Lessons: Where possible, courses will have a combination of face to face and online learning for at least the first term.
Class sizes: These will be smaller than usual, will be dictated by the room size and how we can follow social distancing guidelines.
Student bubbles: We will be keeping students in ‘bubbles’ with their classes where possible.

It is important to note that North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College will continue to respond to the most up to date government guidance, so the specific details may change as needed.
