Skills for the Workplace

If you’re not yet ready for an apprenticeship, why not join our 12-week traineeship programme? You will learn skills as part of a work placement in:
Hairdressing
Engineering
Automotive
Business

As well as gaining professional and technical skills, you will also be able to study for a Level 2 English and maths qualification if you haven’t yet achieved these. We will also help you with career planning, job searching and employability skills. You may even be offered an apprenticeship at end of the programme.

Preparation for University Study

If your sights are set on university level study, our Access to Higher Education programme could help you to get on track.

Our Access pathways are designed for people who don’t yet have the qualifications they need and are widely recognised by UK universities and colleges. Study for one year and you could soon be starting a higher-level qualification or degree programme. We also offer some Access courses part-time to help fit around work and childcare commitments.
