Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce hosted a Vision and Strategy workshop at a local college this week.
The event was held at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College’s Nuneaton Campus on Wednesday 13 March.
The event is part of a programme designed to support those looking to start their own business or those who are less than 12 months trading. The programme consists of 12 hours of free support with a blend of one-to-one sessions and group workshops.
Rita P. Booth, Start-up Business Coach at Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce said: “The aim of this workshop is to help people who are at the start of their business planning process. The main focus of this workshop is developing an exit strategies – an important element in business planning as this allows business owners to make better decisions from day one.”
North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College also presented during the event. Sally Denning, Director for Adult Education at the College said: “We wanted to support the workshop by highlighting the different training options the College offers including part-time programmes, professional and higher education programmes and free on-line courses. We also explained how apprenticeship opportunities can upskill an existing workforce or support the development of new employees”.
The programme is delivered on behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Local authorities, districts and funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
