MIRA Technology Institute is a specialist centre for automotive skills, funded by £9.5m of Local Growth Fund via the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) to bridge the skills gap in the UK automotive sector. It will offer world-class facilities to train the next generation of top automotive engineers through a wide range of automotive engineering apprenticeships.
The MTI has a particular focus on technologies such as electric and driverless cars.
