NWSLC are pleased to offer new Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship. This is a more robust apprenticeship as it not only includes the AAT (Association of Accounting) Foundation Certificate in Accounting but encompasses a range of vital softer skills for those in the workplace, such as communication, personal effectiveness and professionalism. The new apprenticeship is also a great opportunity to upskill current and train new staff.
AAT Standard Apprenticeship Assessment
The students will be tested at the end of their apprenticeship with a scenario which replicates the typical work an Accounts/Finance Assistant will have to manage in a workplace. By its very nature, the occupation demands accurate and detailed written work, including calculations, and so this assessment method is an appropriate and manageable way of testing occupational competency against the knowledge and skills requirements of an Accounts Assistant.
