About

During this Apprenticeship you will be working in an events company or events department in an organisation, helping event planners and project managers to organise and host events. You will typically provide support to a number of Event Planners or Project Managers by carrying out a diverse range of tasks necessary to plan, organise and deliver an event: for example, searching for the right location and venue for the event; working with the design team on the look and feel of the event; or organising logistics like transportation and catering.

Modules

  • How to respond to event requests, and find locations and venues
  • Carry out daily and weekly tasks to plan and prepare events
  • Create reports, event project plans and written presentations
  • An understanding of event technology platforms, systems and databases
  • Knowledge of the other roles in events, such as logistics, production, creative design and event management
  • An understanding of the events industry, competitors, regulations and internal policies.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject or relevant work experience depending on the employer
