A career based on skills in photography can take you into many sectors from commercial advertising, sports reportage, news, and media, to fashion editorial, science and medicine or fine art. You might be self-employed on a freelance basis, or working for a design agency, media organisation, publisher, travel business or even as part of the police service.
As well as perfecting your skills in techniques in film and digital photography including composition, editing, image manipulation, colouring, processing, and visual effects, you will also learn how to operate in a business environment and lay the foundations for a potentially lucrative career. We always focus on helping you to get into the industry and our links with local businesses mean that you can practice your skills on live commissions.
