Floristry Course

About

This course is designed to offer the opportunity of progressing into the industry. It is expected that you would attend a work placement within the industry as part of the course. This can also be fulfilled at our College Flower shop Budding Florists.

  • Aspects of Art and Design in Floristry
  • Hand tied and presentation designs
  • Wedding designs
  • Funeral and sympathy designs
  • Introduction to planted designs
  • Floral decorating
  • Flower and plant care
  • Promotion and display
  • Working within the industry

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

Equipment

Equipment and tools provided. You will need access to a camera or Smartphone.

Next Steps

Candidates will be given the opportunity to progress onto the NPTC Level 3 Diploma in Floristry or enter into employment.
