About

This course is suitable for students who want to work as electricians in the building services engineering sector. This course does not make students fully qualified electricians, but allows them to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and / or career progression in the electro-technology sector.

Modules

  • Working on a range of electrical installations including Domestic, Commercial and Industrial
  • Working with a range of cable management systems and cables including singles, twin and earth, SWA, MI, Tray, Conduit and Trunking
  • Health and Safety

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

Equipment

– Paper, pen, folder and calculator
– On site guide, safety boots
