In a society where awareness of mental health and wellbeing is rising, the government are now recognising the importance of the many benefits that complementary therapies have in supporting the above. Employers in different sectors recognise the need for therapists and this course will give you the knowledge and technical ability to facilitate the growing demand for these skills.
Work experience is provided within the local community including hospices.


  • Advanced aromatherapy
  • Advanced reflexology to the feet and hands
  • Indian head massage
  • Advanced massage techniques which may also include hot and cold stone therapy, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular techniques and holistic facial therapy
  • Devising bespoke complementary therapy treatments for the client
  • Business studies
  • Anatomy and physiology

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are Level 2 Complementary Therapy qualification


You will need to have the required uniform, materials and equipment in order to successfully complete this qualification. We advise that you purchase the specialised kit with us, order forms are provided upon a successful interview.

You will be required to wear your uniform and bring your equipment to all practical sessions; nails must be short and free of enamel and extensions, hair must be worn secured off the face and you are not permitted to wear any jewellery.

Next Steps

On completion of this course graduates may progress to employment in a diverse range of establishments including health spas, complementary therapy clinics, cruise ships, sports centres, self-employment, and there will be opportunities to work within the health care sector. Graduates can also progress on to a degree in Complementary Therapies.

Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSE's. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form we may still be able to help.
