Floristry Workshops

Flowers play an important role in many of the key events of our lives and help us to celebrate all the key milestones. They are also important in commercial settings, especially within the hospitality sector, with huge volumes being used decorate venues, enhance events, and to improve our environment. The UK fresh-cut-flower retail business is worth £1.5bn per year alone. Many leading florists produce elegant creations for workspaces and office bases. With an average spend of £500 on flowers at UK weddings, and nearly 250,000 ceremonies, it is easy to see how florists can thrive.

A career in floristry is more about design than horticulture. The work can be hard with early morning starts and long days on your feet, but the creative rewards are enormous. Our courses train our students to make the most of their artistic and creative talents whilst providing training in the essential business skills that are required to make the most of opportunities in the retail and service sectors.
