This course is for you if you want to work in a professional kitchen or restaurant. Other opportunities include competition work, to help develop your skills and enable you to cope with working under pressure.
This course consists of both theoretical and practical elements, and you will be undertaking assessments in our College Restaurant and other real working environments.

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade E/2 or above or an Entry 3 qualification.
Kitchen and restaurant uniform, basic knife set, probe, coursebook, stationery. The uniform will need to be purchased by the student. If financial assistance is needed, please contact our bursary team.
Mode of Study
Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSEs. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form, we may still be able to help. Speak to the admissions team for more information. There may be free or reduced costs for adults, contact the admissions team to see if you are eligible.
