Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.


You will be sent a materials list prior to enrolment. Most materials can be purchased from the College shop. Paintbrushes are a must. You will be required to buy sketchbooks for each lesson. Tutors will advise you on what you need to purchase.

Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSE's. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form we may still be able to help. Speak to the admissions team for more information. There maybe free or reduced costs for adults, contact the admissions team to see if you are eligible.

Share Course

Successful completion of the course is equal to four GCSEs at C and above and will enable you to progress onto a higher-level course or gain basic employment within the field of Art and Design. You can also take additional GCSEs alongside the qualification and will be expected to take 1 Functional Skill in Communication, depending on the results of your initial assessment.
