We pride ourselves on being a dedicated staff team with expertise in managing a broad spectrum of special educational needs. We have an outstanding team of experienced Learning Support Workers and Keyworkers committed to working with students both in and out of the classroom to identify and meet their individual learning needs and goals. We currently support learners with an Education Health Care Plan and other needs across the curriculum.
Our Learning Support Service underpins this commitment to enable all students to reach their full potential.
We are committed to ensuring that we comply with the Special Educational Needs code of practice, ensuring that those students with learning difficulties, disabilities and Education Health and Care Plans have equal access to our facilities and courses. We do everything we can to help our students break down any barriers to learning.
We value the importance of the transition process into further education and offer personalised transition plans to suit the learner’s needs. This will include a tour of the college, transition support and tasters on your chosen course/option.
If your young person has an interest in what we offer, feel free to either come along and meet some of the team at one of our upcoming open evenings or feel free to contact us directly to arrange a tour of our campus.
If you would like to arrange a meeting to discuss your young person’s needs, book a tour or just have a general query, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
