Our aim is to propel success by developing talented supply chain professionals. We work collaboratively to deliver practical, relevant courses in a live, learning eco-system, at the heart of the UK supply chains.
The CLEAR partnership delivers a ‘one-stop-shop’ of a fully integrated and holistic programme of research, education and training in operations, leadership and health and wellbeing. Our offer includes formal, accredited training across a range of levels and courses, tailored to meet the direct and specific needs of businesses and individuals pursuing a career in the logistics profession.
CLEAR provides true seamless, progression through its skills offer, starting at the recruitment stage with pre-employment programmes, moving through on-boarding and induction, and following journeys that may start with apprenticeships and moving on to higher level and professional qualifications that support career advancement. The programme is enhanced by a range of operational and professional courses designed to support individuals through all stages of their career, by increasing their specialist knowledge and supporting their wellbeing and strengthening resilience.
NWSLC’s offer provides flexible, accessible and innovative training across a range of areas:

Wincanton provides a portfolio of over 80 courses across health, safety, environment and quality. They apply innovative training solutions such as virtual reality, mixed reality and wearable technology to support improved colleague engagement at all levels.
Courses can be tailored to support individual business needs.
Wincanton offer operational and professional courses.
Phase 1 of CLEAR launched in the summer of 2021 and is initially based at Bittesby House, within the Magna Park northern extension. GLP have invested £1.8million to create a professional learning environment, which will support both classroom delivery and remote delivery across the UK.
This first phase of provision provides a platform for phase 2 – a future national centre of excellence with a campus that will accommodate up to 1,000 students as well as providing applied research and associated facilities.
This unique location enables us to deliver the training where the work is done in a living, learning eco-system at the heart of the UK supply chains.
