Aimie has just graduated from her foundation degree, which NWSLC offer in partnership with Warwick University. She works at her local primary school with the year one class and felt that the course in Early Childhood was a natural fit.

Aimie comments “This course has allowed me to achieve a degree whilst working full-time, which I thought would never be an option for me.

“I would highly recommend studying for a degree at the college as it allowed me to study with a prestigious university, without all the stress of travelling far and being away from my child for longer than necessary. Studying at the Nuneaton campus made this course very accessible. The hours were easily completed (one afternoon a week) and I had the support of a fantastic and knowledgeable tutor, Rachel Strisino.

“I have now finished the foundation degree and I’ve begun the honours year of the early childhood degree at Warwick, which I will be able to complete next year. I am also seven months pregnant, so I will be on maternity leave whilst doing the final year of my degree journey.”
