Alisha Raithatha
Alisha chose to the Foundation Learning Programme because she would have the chance to study Hair and Beauty.

“The best thing about the course is trying different things like English, maths, wellbeing, floristry, and project work. The staff and helpers are nice and always help. They encourage you and spot if you have any problems.

Alisha plans to find a job in the Hair and Beauty industry when she finishes her course.

Riley Neville
“I chose to start Foundation Learning because I thought that it would benefit me greatly, and I also thought that it would be a great idea to try something new.”

“The best thing about the course is that it’s challenging and you get to try different things like floristry, woodwork, IT, and cooking. I feel like I wouldn’t have learnt this anywhere else. The best thing about the College is that I feel like a grown up.”

Riley’s top tip for future students is to: “enjoy college and make great memories.”
