You know exactly what the difference is between balayage and ombre. Your Pinterest boards are heavy with the latest hairdressing trends and you can’t help but constantly create new haircuts for your friends in your mind. A hairdressing career is something you’ve been dreaming of for years, but you simply can’t afford to quit your job to start a new course.

Have you considered the apprenticeship route? Apprenticeships are a great way to get a job in the industry you want to work in and earn money whilst working towards a nationally-recognised qualification. We work with over 30 amazing salons across the region to provide hairdressing apprenticeships.

As part of these programmes, you will not only develop your technical hairdressing skills, but also the personal and professional knowledge needed to work in a salon.

To mention but a few salons who currently have vacancies:

  • Tamworth: Hair by Lisa, Jealousi, Joseph’s, Katy Barker Hair Company, Wispers
  • Nuneaton: Shine, Blades, Head Turners,
  • Bedworth: Curl Up & Dye, Revival
  • Hinckley & Burbage: Fox Hair Design (Hinckley & Barwell), Salon 65, Lox Hair, Just Cuts, Mayfair
  • Atherstone: The Works
  • Earl Shilton: Scott Bailye

Sounds interesting? All you have to do is send us an email at be@nwslc.ac.uk and simply register your interest (please use Hairdressing Apprenticeships as a subject line), we’ll get back to you as soon as possible and give you all the details about the next step!
